This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for services ordered from vegalegal, operating as Vega Legal ("Vega Legal", "we", "us"). Please read it together with our terms of service and the quotation or checkout summary for your order.

Requesting a cancellation To cancel an order, contact us with your order reference and the reason for cancellation. Please ask as early as possible if you do not want work to continue. Declining a quotation you have not accepted does not create an order, and nothing is payable for it.

How requests are reviewed We review each cancellation request against the stage the work has reached, the professional work already done, the agreed scope and any official or third-party charges already paid or committed on your behalf. Any refund is assessed under the cancellation terms communicated at engagement and stated in your quotation or checkout summary. We will tell you our decision, the basis for it and how any refund amount was calculated.

Government fees and third-party charges Fees already paid to government authorities, registries or other third parties are governed by their own rules and are generally outside our control. Whether any such amount can be recovered depends on that authority or third party.

Completed and pending work Professional work that has already been performed is treated separately from work that has not yet started, in line with the agreed terms.

How refunds are paid An approved refund is paid back to the original payment method where possible, or by another method agreed with you. Processing and settlement times are as per the terms communicated at engagement and the timelines of the payment provider and banks involved.

Service concerns If delivered work does not match the agreed scope, contact us with your order reference and the details of the issue. We will review it and offer an appropriate resolution, such as correcting or completing the work, a cancellation or a refund.

Your statutory rights Nothing in this policy affects any right you have under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, that cannot lawfully be excluded.
